Listen once to the sheer genius of Viv Stanshall, Neil Innes, et al. and you'll be hooked. Note also the excellent musicianship - this wasn't just a bunch of fools mucking about; these guys could really play, and some of their own compositions are rather fine pieces of music in their own right.
