The Eroica quartet continues to astonish audiences and critics with it's radical interpretations of nineteenth-century music in recordings for Harmonia Mundi USA and performances across Europe and the USA including the Frick Collection, New York and the Library of Congress, Washington. With their on-going research into contemporary performance styles they are maturing into a unique and passionate force. They have recorded all Mendelssohn's quartets, the 3rd disc of which was released in March 2004. Their European concerts have included Holland, Denmark, Germany, France and Spain. After a successful Barcelona debut, the quartet gave a Mendelssohn cycle in November 2003. "The Eroicas attack their music with a kind of lilt, passion and incision that can leave the mouth gaping.
