From 1966 and 1967, two Pass albums originally released for World Pacific Records. Both albums feature a mixture of standards and new material performed in the immaculate Pass way. Chet Baker features on 'A Sign Of The Times'.

[...] Some listeners are likely now, as they were when records like this pair were originally released in 1966 and 1967, to cry 'foul': These are pop-jazz albums with 11 cuts per LP, as was customary then, and most of the tracks come in at about the three-minute mark. I'm sure a lot of hard-core jazz fans would denounce these recordings as 'commercial'.

That matters not a whit to me. A glance at the track listings will alert the potential buyer to the fact that this is pop territory featuring both standards and tunes new five decades ago, so he knows what he's getting into. And what he's getting into, if his reaction is like mine, is an agreeable pair of records, the work of assured professionals.
