As for the music, I could have done without the teen angst songs (Teenage Queen, Airport Giveth, Teenage Love Affair), though the latter has a creative propulsive voice box solo in the middle. Then there's "Slide on Over Slinky" that never gets beyond shlunky... BUT, the bluesy ballads Hold and Jump Jump Jump (the latter with beyond-fine guitar work) and the laid back "It's Raining" elevate this disc well beyond ordinary. Finally, "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" and "Uncomplicated" (with co-producer Bill Szymczyk's addition of Joe Walsh's Barnstorm) are not-to-be-missed rock gems.
