although likend to the late janis joplin, maggie bell should hold a lot of respect to everyone as she has the most raw,and beatifully tearing voices and,what we must remember,she is british. having been the singer of one of the most underrated and sadly short lived bands,stone the crows,who disbannded due to the death of guitarist les harvey(brother of the late alex harvey). although not some of the best selections of songs they are done in her own style. highly reccomended to fans of decent british blues,which is now rapidly dissapearing.-martin davies
