The only 'Sect' song i had heard before was Glendora and this is a long way from that. They are very good at what they do, which is R&B. This is where many of the bands of the sixties had there roots such as the Animals, Yardbirds Stones to name a few. The difference for me is they moved on progressing their music and writing original material. The 'Sect just carried on doing the same thing they had always done even with their own songs.
