Solid comes from a slightly later time (1974) than more popularly recognised Groundhogs albums, but in my opinion shows them at their peak, Overall it contains more inventive and memorable rifs, and experiments with synthesiser and Mellotron effects which draw out TS McPhee's storming guitar work to show it at its best.
