It's a funny sort of album. Nine songs which display a wide range of

influences; not wholly coherent but stitched together well by redoubtable

producer Eddie Offord into a nonetheless engaging and enjoyable whole.

Neil Ford played guitar and delivered the lion's share of the singing;

Jan Schelhass managed the keyboards; the hairy and handsome Dave Paull

held down the bass and Lee Kerslake (later to become the rhythmic force

behind Uriah Heep) was a real powerhouse behind the drum kit. The fact

that all four members of the ensemble could sing (and sing well) was a

huge plus and imbued their material with a richly harmonic foundation.
