San Francisco, 1968..Hitchhiked up to see Country Joe and the Fish at Fillmore West. Terry who? Whatever. After a 20 minute version of Season of the Witch, we were not as interested in the Fish. This guy rocked us to the breaking point. Have to get the album of course and it didn't disappoint. Much variety here, well thought out ballads and in your face screamer's delights..Found the vinyl in a store last year, still holds up. Interesting lineup, Terry on guitar and vocal, no bass player, the keyboardist handled it well along with a killer drummer..Tis a wonder why alot more acclaim didn't come his way..Bang Bang is a special memory from a magical time. larry randolph
