The two sides of Tony McPhee, released 1973, reflects the two aspects of this immensely talented musician. On the one hand we hear the famous blues rock music for which he has become famous, mainly being the leader/writer/singer/guitarist for The Groundhogs. On the other hand he experiments with a more electronic mode which was emerging at the time through the moog synthesiser. This was to be his only real outing on such a medium. The lyrics on this album, as on all his albums, reflects his strongly held beliefs, especially on hunting.
