A Dutch Delight

Originally released on the Polydor label in 1970, this album features Golden Earring offering a more rock influenced style which would lead to their hit album Moontan a year or two later.

Featuring the same line up that had the hit single Radar Love, Barry Hay leads the way with some fine vocals and is well supported by George Kooymans (Guitar), Rinus Gerritsen (Bass) & Cesar Zuiderwinjk (Drums).

Big Tree Blue Sea appears on this album and was later reproduced for the Moontan album and was a favourite live track.

The Wall of Dolls is a haunting and atmospheric track and The Loner seems to have been influenced by Free !!

George certainly handles the solo on This Is The Time Of The Year with ease and is a personnal favourite.

For those of you who enjoyed Moontan and Switch, I can only recommend this album as a great piece of 70's rock. Amazon-Kunde
