I only just heard this album today and I must say it is completely different to any other funky albums I have heard. It's completely different to the Animals- the music ranges from dirty funk to free-form jazz and is amazing. My personal favourite tracks are "Spirit", "New Born Child" and "Gun". It is clever the way the album has been assembled, there are two main tracks which consist of about 7 or 8 tracks all moulded into one, one of them a cover of "Paint It Black" (featuring the scary "PC 3", which was banned at the time) and the other a cover of "Nights In White Satin", each with little interludes and jams composed by War.
