Rare Bird were unique in their use of an all keyboard sound which had Graham Field and David Kaffinetti taking the leads with Graham on Hammond Organ and David on Electric piano also in the band were Steve Gould on Bass and vocals and Mark Ashton on Drums and vocals.I heard the original Rare Bird play live twice and the quality of the bands performance was mind blowing.My favourite tracks off this CD are "You Went Away", "Beautiful Scarlet" and "As Your Mind Flies By", all are great compositions.Why this band were not more successful is a mystery that "Mulder and Scully" would find hard to solve!This CD is highly recomended.
