It is an unashamedly 1970's rock album with nobody trying to sound relevant to 1996 when it was recorded. There are some great riffy songs like Gunslinger, the spaced out Anthem of the Universe, the hauntingly melodic Far Away Friends,and of course it kicks off with the funky rhythms of Wrap it up and Take it Home. Interestingly Cornick's contributions are the exquisite St Catherine's Bells,the passable Stealer of Years and the downright mediocre Life is What you Make it. The record company apparently wanted to omit this track which sounds like Shakin' Stevens and I warn you to have your remote handy!One of the worst songs any band ever recorded which cost the album one whole star in my rating!
