Aum was a late sixties Frisco rock band, largely forgotten now, who were most famous for being an opening act for more popular bands and giving them a run for their money. A power trio in the tradition of more famous blues based trio formats like Cream and The Experience, their first album on Bill Graham's short-lived Fillmore Records label was a somewhat loose and meandering collection of blues jams called Bluesvibes, which is not really recommended. Their second and last outing, Resurrection, is an unsung classic from the burgeoning Frisco rock scene of the late sixties, characterized by great vocal harmonies, and inventive songwriting and lead guitar work by their front man, Wayne "The Harp" Ceballos.
