A six piece band that arose out of the now mostly forgotten but nonetheless vibrant 1960s Michigan music scene; their name concocted from the initials of the leader singer Scott Richardson (Scott Richardson Case). Their sound was based around an ominous Hammond organ and a feedback rich guitar, provided by brothers Glenn and Gary Quackenbush, and that has remained a unique signature of the band, In fact in their early stages they were championed by no less a person than John Peel. This album is a compilation of work from their first three albums, illustrates the diversity of a band trying to make a breakthrough. And a quirky collection it sounds too
