Das Orff-Schulwerk wirkt seit Jahrzehnten in pädagogische, künstlerische und therapeutische Bereiche hinein. In seiner Entwicklung am Salzburger Orff-Institut und in seiner weltweiten Anwendung wird dieses musik- und tanzpädagogische Konzept aber auch immer wieder von neuen Theorien und Praxisphänomenen aus verschiedenen Themenfeldern beeinflusst und inspiriert. / Diese dialogische Situation war das Thema des Internationalen Symposions 2006 "Orff-Schulwerk - im Dialog". Beiträge aus Erziehungswissenschaft, Psychologie, Musikethnologie, Neurobiologie und Musikpsychologie greifen interdisziplinäre Fragen auf, die jeden Musik- und Tanzpädagogen in der Praxis beschäftigen.
