Inhalt

The album is very 80s sounding but not in a cheesy way. You could date it by listening to it's synths and drum sounds alone however the production is excellent and the compositions are terrific! The blend of latino, jazz and subtle dance/pop sections really do hold up very well indeed. If you like Santana - and you enjoyed some of the post-Borboletta work as much as the pre-Carvanserai albums (everything in between those 2 albums is solid gold a far as I'm concerned) - then I can't see why you wouldn't like this.
