This live recording of Leo Kottke is pretty sweet. Mostly instrumental solo guitar playing and a few vocals songs too. This album is compiled from two concert recordings, but it's (roughly) edited as though it sounds like one single live set with some short pieces of banter and tuning left in. Kottke is in very good mood and in good shape too - one time he's lyrical, melancholic or even a bit romantic, the next he's playing ferociously on the guitar displaying technical wizardry. It took quite some effort to convince my dad there's only one guitar player at work on some songs. Okay so this isn't groundbreaking stuff and he's clearly more convincing at playing the guitar than at singing, but all in all this cd is well worth purchasing. Amazon-Kunde
