Adrian WILLAERT (c. 1490-1562)

The Flemish composer Adrian Willaert was one of the most important and influential composers of the sixteenth century. His nine Masses are mostly early works, based on motets by other composers. The beautiful Missa Christus resurgens is based on the motet of the same name which preceds it here.
