Inhalt

Das Ballett stellt in 16 Bildern den Lebensweg des Siddartha, dem Begründer des Buddhismus, dar. Auf der Suche nach der Erleuchtung begibt er sich auf eine lange Reise und muss einige Hürden überwinden. Nicolas Le Riche verkörpert den Siddartha. Im Moment der Erleuchtung nimmt er die Pose des von innen heraus strahlenden Buddhas ein. Tänzerisch zur Seite stehen ihm Aurélie Dupont als Figur der Erleuchtung, Alice Renavand als seine Ehefrau und Muriel Zusperreguy als das romantische Bauernmädchen Sujata.
