Inhalt

The epic love story tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with American GI Chris - but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. The special gala finale also features appearances by the original cast including Jonathan Pryce and Lea Salonga.
Miss Saigon ist ein Musical von Alain Boublil und Claude-Michel Schönberg, das ebenso wie Puccinis Madame Butterfly auf der französischen Novelle "Madame Chrysanthème" von Pierre Loti beruht. Das Stück wurde am 20. September 1989 im Theatre Royal Drury Lane (London) uraufgeführt, die Broadway-Premiere folgte am 11. April 1991.
