Freeway Madness is the the 3rd album of what I see as a trilogy by the Pretty Things where they explore their harmonious side - creating beautifully rounded and fully realised songs - reminiscent of the Beatles and Pink Floyd etc., yet retaining a unique individualism of style and sound.

As with S F SORROW and PARACHUTE (the other two from the trilogy) Freeway Madness benefits by not having been "done to death" as can be the case with The Beatles and the like.
