Rare Bird started out as a two keyboards/bass/drum/vocal group, and their two first albums proved this. "Rare Bird" and "As Your Mind Flies By" from 1970 and 1971 is good music with many good keyboard parts. But it was on their third album "Epic Forest" they made their best music. There was a change in line-up too, now they have two guitars and one keyboard. But there also a change in mood. Their earlier albums had a dramatic feeling, but "Epic Forest" come up with a more relaxed and rich sound, many nice guitar and keyboard parts.
