Inhalt

George Graham (drums), Steve Darling (guitar), Frank Hardwick (bass), Mike Dees (vocals), and Bill Joyner (keyboards) would practice in George's garage and on Saturday nights play the YMCA, the Skating Rink and the Teen Club. After high school, the band went their separate ways.

Eventually, several of the members reunited and went on to record an album on the B.T. Puppy label. It was simply titled, "Bow Street Runners." They were joined by Steve Struthers (lead guitar) on the album.

They played night clubs from Jacksonville, Florida to Washington, D.C. (called the Chitlin' Curcuit) for a few years. Then they played concert openers for acts such as Strawberry Alarm Clock, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Blood Rock, Chubby Checker, Percy Sledge and many more.

As happens with many bands, the Bow Street Runners disbanded and went their separate ways. Each member of the band went on to play in different bands. As fate would have it, different members of the band crossed paths and were able to play music together at different times over the years.
